Over the course of the last year, we have cultivated some partnerships we are very proud of. The first is with Friends of Central Illinois. Through a donation from our foundation, Friends was able to give over 50 vaccinations of HPV! People between the ages of 9 - 35 who couldn’t obtain the vaccination through other means were able to get life-saving healthcare because of your support. AS you may know, vaccination can be a costly endeavor as the vaccine itself is over $200, and adolescents 15 and under must have two doses, while those over the age of 15 need three doses in order to be fully vaccinated. The Brooke Crawmer-Joseph foundation was happy to support Friends in supplying these vaccines to those in need, as we know first-hand the lives that can and will be saved as a result of HPV vaccinations.
We are also excited to have partnered with OSF Healthcare to create a postcard you. The reach of Brooke’s story will broaden tremendously through this partnership. We are hopeful that thousands of lives will be saved through this education and reminder to get a vaccine. OSF will mail this postcard to their patients who would benefit from getting the HPV vaccine, and they will provide updates to the foundation as they track those who obtain the vaccine after receiving the postcard.
